Content type management in the Office 365 environment - where is it?
Recently at work we've decided to move from an on-premise Sharepoint 2013 environment to an Office 365 Sharepoint environment. While I have no general issues with Office 365 (Indeed, I would honestly recommend making the move if you're undecided) one of the first hurdles we came across was migration of content types. As in...where is my content type hub?
Fortunately this ended up being relatively simple once I was armed with the right data. It's not present on your landing page or listed in your available list of sites on the admin dashboard, but via your landing page you can see there is a hidden team site by going to Admin > Site collection administration > Content type publishing.
You can see the URL present under "Hubs". Going to mysite.sharepoint.com/sites/contentTypeHub will work fine and functions just fine as a content type hub. Problem resolved.
